It’s about 24 hours. Depending on the network signal in your area, there will be differences in the area where the signal is poor, and the battery life will be shorter because the searching signal will consume more power. In general, the TickTalk 3 battery life varies by use, configuration, cellular network, signal strength, and many other factors; actual results will vary.

Can I go swimming with TickTalk 3?
No, the IP67 waterproof technology of any electronic product is not designed for swimming. The technology will prevent damage to the watch if it is briefly dropped into water or becomes wet temporarily through other means.

What does the waterproof IP67 rating mean?
The IP67 rating means the TickTalk 3 is protected from dust and capable of withstanding water immersion between 15 cm and 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, we do not recommend wearing the watch while taking a shower, diving and swimming, as the waterproof parts of the watch may age over time, resulting in reduced water resistance protection.

Does TickTalk 3 have a GEO Fence?
No, TickTalk 3 uses a Wi-Fi locator as the priority locator to show the location, but the accuracy of the Wi-Fi locator will be 100- 500 feet. Therefore, if you set up a Fence for your child, it may provide you with false alarms. With the TickTalk 3, you can always locate your child and give your child a video call to confirm if he/she is safe and happy.

How is the locator accuracy of TickTalk 3?
Due to the 4G reception, the locator accuracy of TickTalk 3 is much better than that of the past 2 generations. We have adjusted the locator algorithm and it is easy to get GPS satellite positioning for outdoors. However, since it will uses a lot of battery energy to search for satellite signals, we still use the Wifi locator as the priority which can save more battery. The accuracy of the Wifi locator is within 100-500 feet.

The strap can fit 7.5 inches wrist. If your child’s wrist is bigger than that, you can buy an adult watch strap with a width of 22mm to replace the current one.

What is the main differences between TickTalk 3 and other brands of watches?
The main research and development for our TickTalk 3 is done in the United States. We offer our customers the most user-friendly APP and incorporate the latest technology for our watch’s hardware and operating system. At present time, most of the kids smart watch phones are developed and designed by Chinese startups, and they usually come with a generic App and hard to operate interface. These companies typically don’t have U.S.-based customer service and have never done localized testing in the US and improvement, so the user experience is not good. The most important point is that in the production process, our company is working with several big mobile phone manufacturers to go through more than 80 rigorous inspection procedures. Our defective rate is relatively low, but most other brands completely ignore these tests. Can kids transfer the photos and videos to parents?
TickTalk 3 allows the kids to save or send the photos through the Messaging Center. They can shoot a video and save it on their watch but it’s not allowed to send the video through the messaging center currently. However, you can connect your watch to your computer via the USB charging cord and export the videos manually.

Yes, we did a great improvement for the Instant Messaging System. Now the text messages, voice messages, emoji and images will be received immediately after you send. Just in case you’re somewhere that has weak reception and can’t send or receive messages at the time, once you are back in a good area it will resend the message and receive the messages you may have missed.

Yes, the video call will consume more battery and it may cause the watch to heat up. We set a 3 minute usage time limit for video calls, and the system will cut off the video call automatically, If your priority is not the battery, you can make another video call again after the 3 minutes cut off limit.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
